Harvey Thomson has volunteered thousands of hours in support of our mission. His contributions have touched all areas of the Foundation, from participation in local fundraising initiatives, service on provincial committees and boards, to service on the National Board of Directors.

“Everyone who volunteers for any task or responsibility at any level in the Kidney Foundation is making a difference, and collectively we are making important progress toward improving the quality of life of those impacted by kidney disease.”

A proponent of “lifelong learning”, Harvey has a passion and a deep commitment to organizational change management. His tremendous contributions to redefining The Kidney Foundation’s governance model and his tireless efforts aimed at improving the lives of those living with kidney disease has inspired the National Board of Directors to create The Harvey Thomson Scholarship Fund in his honor to inspire others to pursue continuous life-long learning.
