You are passionate about people, you are looking for a way to help, this one is for you!

Sylvie Charbonneau

The Kidney Foundation of Canada is looking for people passionate about people to serve on their National Board of Directors.

Of course, being a Board member of a national health charity requires hours of reading… and sitting… and talking… and sitting again. It requires commitment not only to the cause, but also to leadership and governance roles in Canadian charities. It demands a certain selflessness, giving up nights and weekends. It also means helping people in need, working to improve the lives of thousands of people impacted by kidney disease and participating in major changes in the policies of our health systems in Canada.

But the rewards are great. You will work with a team of passionate, competent people for coast to coast. And it is a great opportunity to learn, share and influence. If you feel this is for you or if you know someone who could be interested, please consider applying.

The National Nominating Committee of The Kidney Foundation of Canada (NNC) is beginning the recruitment for the 2025-2026 National Board of Director term. We strive for a board that is both effective and diverse in terms of background, age, gender, experience and skill.

The deadline for these applications is NOVEMBER 15, 2024.

Please take a moment to ask yourself "Do I know someone that could fulfil this role?" (it could also be yourself! Download the application form). If you want to know more, talk to a current NBOD member or send an email to [email protected].
