We understand patients outside of urban areas must incur costs associated with travel to dialysis or other medical appointments.
If you travel 40 km or more (one way) to receive medical treatment, you can apply for our Dialysis Transportation Program through renal social workers working at community units, hospital renal programs or kidney care clinics.
