The Leaders of Change are a dedicated group of Kidney Foundation donors who are committed to addressing and supporting high-priority needs of individuals living with kidney disease, their loved ones and caregivers in Ontario. Through exclusive contact with the Foundation’s Ontario Branch, Leaders of Change receive an ‘insider’ perspective on how they, together with the Foundation, can impact lives for the better.
For over 5 years, Leaders of Change have focused on supporting research, short-term financial assistance, camp experiences, advocacy efforts and peer support needs for Ontario kidney patients.
This Spring, let’s support camp experiences for kidney patients and their families at Camp Dorset this upcoming summer and the opportunity for them to enjoy all that camp has to offer while maintaining their dialysis treatments on-site.
Mental well-being is equally as important as physical well-being, especially for kidney patients and their loved ones who feel the daily effects from challenges associated living with kidney disease.
What better gift can we provide than peace of mind and togetherness, even if only for a short period of time over the summer. Together with you, our donors, let’s give patients the chance to create life-long memories and friendships in a beautiful outdoor setting rather than a hospital or clinic.
