Vince Andrews was elected volunteer president of The Kidney Foundation’s National Board of Directors in June 2026. Since first joining the national board in 2020, he has served in the positions of vice-president, director-at-large, and branch representative. Vince also served on the Atlantic Canada Branch Board since 2018, as vice president in 2019, president in 2020, and past president in 2023.

A mediator by profession, Vince worked for many years with the Government of Newfoundland & Labrador, specializing in industry relations and collective bargaining. In 2021, he started his own consulting company, specializing in workplace conflict and dispute resolution.

Vince has volunteered with The Kidney Foundation for years and is a strong advocate for people impacted by kidney disease. Diagnosed with kidney disease in his twenties, Vince began dialysis treatments in 2013. He was on the transplant wait list for 10 years before receiving a kidney transplant in August 2024. In 2022, Vince received The Kidney Foundations Ornstein award for his outstanding contributions.

Vince is an avid reader and sports fan, still actively playing sports. He considers being a dad to Kaitlyn and Jared the most important and rewarding thing in his life. Vince lives in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador, with his wife Amy.
