Research Award Recipients

We are proud of the role we play in kidney research and recognize that increasing research capacity is critical to the advancement of scientific knowledge as well as the development and retention of renal researchers and their careers. Research brings hope for better treatment options and a better quality of life for patients and their families.

We uphold our commitment to research excellence through research grants, fellowships and scholarships awarded to investigators from all scientific disciplines. In fact, we provide over $3 million in funding every year to kidney-related research conducted in Canada.

We also support young researchers through KRESCENT (Kidney Research Scientist Core Education and National Training Program). For more information on KRESCENT awardees visit krescent.ca/awardees.
