Spring Kidney 50/50 Launched in Ontario to Provide Valuable Support

Region:
Ontario
Date:

The Kidney Foundation, Ontario Branch, has launched their first of two 50/50 raffles of the year, just in time for spring!

“Every ticket in our spring 50/50 helps reduce the burden of kidney disease by funding the programs and services people rely on—today—and the research that can help change the course of early detection and treatment of kidney failure,” says Anthony Tirone, Ontario Branch Executive Director.

Ticket sales began on April 30 at 9:00am and will close on May 14 at 11:59pm with the grand prize draw taking place on May 15 at 12:30pm. To be eligible for the early bird draw of $500, tickets must be purchased by May 7 at 11:59pm.

The guaranteed minimum prize is $4,500 and ticket prices are $10 for 5 tickets, $20 for 30 tickets, $40 for 100 tickets and $75 for 250 tickets. Last year’s winner took home over $18,000! Tickets are sold exclusively online at kidney5050.ca.

“Last year, more than $75,000 was invested to help dialysis patients access a life-changing camp experience. It’s a chance to step away from the daily treatment routine, build community, and create lasting memories with loved ones, while still having access to life-sustaining dialysis treatments. Your support of initiatives like Kidney 50/50 helps make investments in camp funding possible,” added Tirone.

Raffle purchasers must be physically located in Ontario to buy a 50/50 ticket and over the age of 18. Full prize rules are available at www.kidney5050.ca. Lottery License #: RAF1538499
