Five UHN scientists receive $2 million inaugural Di Poce Research Scholars Awards

Kidney Foundation of Canada funded researcher, Ana Konvalinka is one of 5 UHN scientists awarded inaugural Di Poce Research Scholars Awards as part of a $2 million investment to support women researchers in transplantation.

“The Kidney Foundation of Canada extends their congratulations to Dr. Konvalinka and the other recipients of this award. Transplantation remains a key treatment area for kidney failure, and a priority area for research investment. We are pleased to see awards targeted specifically at transplantation, and to support and recognize women researchers. We are sure that this support will help in the development of important innovation for patients and to allow for mentorship of the next generation of researchers.”
