Kidney Walk 2026: Quebec surpasses its goal!

Region:
Quebec
Date:
Un groupe de personne avec un bannière de La Fondation du rein

The 2026 Kidney Walk season concluded with an extraordinary wave of solidarity. With more than 20 walks held across approximately 10 regions of Quebec, thousands of walkers, volunteers, donors and partners came together to support the kidney cause.

This outstanding participation paid off: The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Quebec branch, far surpassed its fundraising goal of $500,000!

Every step taken, every donation collected and every hour dedicated to the Kidney Walk contributed to this collective achievement. The funds raised will help support research, raise awareness of kidney disease and organ donation, and provide essential programs and services to people living with kidney disease and their loved ones.

This achievement belongs to you. Thank you for walking, fundraising, donating, cheering us on and joining forces with us!

Participants who went above and beyond

Among all those who contributed to the success of this year’s Kidney Walk, the Foundation would like to recognize the remarkable commitment of its Pinnacles and Champions: participants who distinguished themselves through their outstanding fundraising efforts. Their determination to rally their networks and communities truly embodies the spirit of the Kidney Walk.

Congratulations to all our Champions and Pinnacles! Your commitment directly contributes to advancing the kidney cause and improving the lives of people affected by kidney disease.

Thank you to our valued partners

The Foundation would also like to thank its national and local sponsors and partners. Their invaluable support contributes to the success of the Kidney Walk and helps raise awareness of the kidney cause throughout Quebec.

The walks may be over, but the momentum continues

The 2026 Kidney Walk events are now behind us, but fundraising will continue until December 31.

While the overall goal for Quebec has been surpassed, some walks have not yet reached their local fundraising targets. There is still time to support the efforts in your area and help your local walk raise its total.

Choose the walk in your region and give it one last boost. Every donation matters because kidney disease does not stop.

Support the walk in my region

Together, let’s keep this momentum going and continue advancing the kidney cause, one community at a time.
