2022 Kidney Walk Raises Over $95,000

Over $95,000 was raised at the Manitoba Kidney Walks, which will be invested in programs that serve kidney patients in Manitoba.

Over 300 Manitobans showed up to the three in-person walks, hosted in Winnipeg, Brandon, and Morden. Countless others showed their support virtually with an online donation, bringing the total dollars raised to $96,911.02.

Opening ceremonies included a drum song from Vanessa Tait, a blessing from Janet Tait, stories from Donovan DeBattista and David Urquhart, a ribbon cutting by Conner, Mya, and Grady from Kidney Camp, and more.

Thank you to Richard Cloutier from CJOB for emceeing, RBC for volunteering their time at the event, and all our 2022 Kidney Walk Champions who stepped up and made a difference!
