Kidney Walk helps to raise funds to support individuals living with kidney disease and to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation.

Funds raised from Kidney Walk help support kidney patients and their families in the local areas from Red Deer County north and The Territories by providing emergency financial assistance, medicine, food, gas, rent and utilities for those who experience financial crisis because of their disease. Our collective efforts help support patients and their families to alleviate the financial and mental health burden. In addition, funds raised support the Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Kids Camp, various health promotion programs, advocacy initiatives, our peer support program, the creation and distribution of educational resources, and funding of cutting-edge research.
