2nd Annual Impact Awards Ceremony to take place April 19

April 16 to 22 is National Volunteer Week – a week to celebrate and recognize the remarkable contributions made by volunteers across Canada who give of their time and talents to help make a difference. The theme for the 2023 week is “Volunteering weaves us together.” We celebrate volunteers’ individual and collective actions, as these help us strengthen our relationships, our position in the community and our ability to help those in need.

Our organization’s foundation is built on the support of our volunteer community. From assisting with fundraising, programs-related activities such as webinars and peer support groups, to helping us create a broader awareness of the Foundation and kidney disease, we rely on our volunteers to support so many areas of our work.

On Wednesday, April 19, we will be hosting our Ontario Impact Awards virtual ceremony where we will highlight the achievements of our 2022 Ontario Branch Impact Award recipients.  The awards formally celebrate individuals of all ages including volunteers, healthcare professionals, groups, organizations, and employees across the province who have made significant and unique contributions that make us a stronger, more vibrant, and effective organization.

You’re invited to join us in celebrating our 2022 Impact Award recipients. RSVP by contacting Natalie Bien at natalie.bien@kidney.ca or call 1.800.387.4474.
