Kidney Foundation Celebrates 60 Years at the Kidney Walk

When the Kidney Foundation was founded 60 years ago, people experiencing kidney failure had little hope of survival. Today, that is no longer the case. The Kidney Foundation is celebrating 6 decades of improving the lives of Canadians this September at the 2024 Kidney Walks.

Thanks to the generosity of Manitobans, the Kidney Foundation has been able to invest in research that has led to improved treatment options, discoveries about early detection, and free educational resources.
But there is more work to be done. There is still no cure for kidney disease, but with the help of Manitobans, the Foundation can take one step closer to discovering it.

The 2024 Kidney Walk features a grand raffle prize from Calm Air, so that Manitobans have another way to support the kidney patients. Manitobans who are age 18+ can visit the Kidney Walk Grand Raffle to buy their ticket.
