Dr Lisa Robinson Appointed Dean of the University of Toronto’s Temerty Faculty of Medicine

The Kidney Foundation of Canada would like to congratulate Dr Lisa Robinson on her appointment as the Dean of the University of Toronto’s Temerty Faculty of Medicine.

Dr Robinson is a clinician-scientist and paediatric nephrologist, as well as a staff physician and former head of the division of nephrology at the Hospital for Sick Children who holds a tier one Canada Research Chair in vascular inflammation and kidney injury. Dr Robinson is also engaged with the KRESCENT program.

“The Kidney Foundation of Canada is excited to see talented and deserving nephrologists appointed to leadership roles within the Canadian health education landscape. The Canadian nephrology community is small but mighty, and advancement into roles such as this one is pertinent to ensuring that kidney disease, as well as the kidney community sees itself represented in leadership. Dr Robinson is committed to connecting the community to research and to fostering innovative collaboration and is sure to excel in this position, we send our congratulations,” said Leanne Stalker, National Director of Research for The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
