About Riley:

Riley Cerovcec was one of the most positive, kind-hearted people you could ever hope to meet. Born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, he grew up surrounded by the love of his parents, Steve and Sandy, and his brother, Blaze. Riley threw himself into everything he did—whether it was playing hockey, wakeboarding, or immersing himself in his passion for music.

We met Riley at Western University, where he was enrolled in the Civil and Environmental Engineering program. It didn’t take long for his energy to draw people in. Together with Rory and Liam, Riley helped create the very first version of KRUSH for a St. Patrick’s Day party—an idea that quickly grew into something bigger. The band’s early popularity was fueled by Riley’s musical talent, electric stage presence, and the unwavering support of his family and friends. When George and Joey later joined, KRUSH truly took shape, leading to countless unforgettable gigs throughout their final years at Western.

Riley had a rare gift for making every space brighter. He brought positivity, love, and authenticity into every moment, and he made the people around him feel seen and appreciated. His absence leaves a hole that can never be filled, but his spirit, kindness, and the joy he brought to others will live on in all who knew him.

He will be missed more than words can express.
