GUEST SPEAKER: Goal Setting while caring for someone with kidney disease

Thursday, February 19, 2026
1:30 - 3:00pm EST
Online
Participants will begin with a guided self-assessment to reflect on their current health and wellness, daily demands, strengths, and constraints. From there, we’ll explore what truly matters to you right now, helping you align goals with your values, priorities, to help you improve your quality of life.

Using SMART goal setting strategies, you’ll learn how to create goals that are specific, flexible, and achievable, even when your loved one's health is unpredictable. The session also highlights common goal-setting pitfalls, such as aiming too high, ignoring your own needs, or feeling discouraged by setbacks, and offers practical strategies to stay motivated and adjust goals without self-judgment.

This is a closed session for caregivers only.

Register by emailing [email protected] or call 1-866-390-7337.
