National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Week (NOTDAW) celebrates organ and tissue donation and raises awareness about the critical need for more donors across Canada.

In celebration of NOTDAW, we are thrilled to present a webinar featuring Dr. John Gill and Sylvie Charbonneau.

Presenters 

Dr. John Gill



Dr. John Gill is a clinician scientist in the Division of Nephrology at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver and an active researcher whose interests include clinical outcomes in kidney transplantation, access to care, clinical trials, and health services research. Dr. Gill is the past present of the Canadian Society of Nephrology and the Canadian Organ Replacement Register. Furthermore, he is the Deputy Editor of the American Journal of Transplantation and chairs the American Society of Transplantation Annual Fellows Education Meeting. Dr. Gill will be speaking on kidney transplantation and living donation.


Sylvie Charbonneau



Sylvie Charbonneau is co-founder of consulting company Brio Change, a professor in the department of Executive Education at HEC Montréal and a member of the Board of Directors of the Quebec chapter of ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals, an international organization of more than 3000 members around the world). She also serves on the Board of Directors of The Kidney Foundation, Quebec Branch. Sylvie will share her experience donating a kidney to her son on December 6th, 2012, as well as her dream to change the world one kidney at the time.
