Thank You for Sharing a Spare

On Sunday, March 16, 2025, we hosted the second-annual Share a Spare bowling fundraiser at Dakota Bowling Lanes.

22 teams joined us for a day of bowling, games, and delicious food catered by Peckish Winnipeg, with desserts generously donated by Papa’s Bake House. The incredible turnout of 110+ attendees helped us raise over $20,000! Because of your generous support, kidney patients in Manitoba will continue to receive essential support like financial assistance to offset the cost of dialysis. Currently, the average out-of-pocket expense associated with life-saving treatment is $2,000 a month.

This event would not have been possible without the sponsors who invested in Share a Spare. Our Strike Out Kidney Disease sponsor, Manitoba Turkey, and Perfect Game Sponsors, Fillmore Riley LLP, Toledo Food Service, and The Mark Thiessen Group, all made the day extra fun by registering teams in addition to their financial contribution!
