We celebrated 60 years of kidney care throughout September with our annual Kidney Walks! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our community.

Hundreds of Manitoba met us in Morden, Brandon, and Winnipeg to walk for someone they love. Sunny skies made for the perfect backdrop to our celebrations as we heard stories from kidney patients, cheered on our walkers, and enjoyed our Sunday afternoons.

Together, YOU raised $115,192.75!

When the Kidney Foundation was founded 60 years ago, people experiencing kidney failure had little hope of survival. But thanks to you and your fundraising, that is no longer the case. Because of you, kidney patients can prioritize their wellbeing with peer support. They can stay informed with free educational resources. And, they can receive better treatment options thanks to cutting-edge research.

It’s all because of you.

This year also featured our Kidney Walk Grand Raffle, where Manitobans had the chance to win a 50/50 jackpot and a round-trip flight for two with CalmAir.
