The Kidney Foundation has developed a series of videos about polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and its impact on families, both those personally affected and those offering love and support. Dr. Amit Garg honoured with the Young Investigator Award

The Kidney Foundation of Canada congratulates Dr. Amit Garg for being honoured with the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Young Investigator Award, presented annually to an individual 45 years of age or younger with an outstanding record of achievement and creativity in basic or patient-oriented research related to the functions and diseases of the kidney.

The Kidney Foundation of Canada is pleased to announce prolific scientist and renowned transplant researcher Dr. Marie-Josée Hébert of Montreal as the recipient of the 2016 Medal for Research Excellence. Dr. Hébert’s major research focus is related to the pivotal role of renal fibrosis in chronic kidney disease and transplant rejection.
